Every movie, every showtime and every format is just $3 at participating theatres. The $3 movie special is to celebrate the inauguration of National Cinema Day, which is intended to bring crowds back to theatres. You can find participating theatres near you at:

National Cinema Day is sponsored by The Cinema Foundation. More than 3,000 theaters with over 30,000 screens are expected to participate in the event.
“This day is for movie lovers across the US, celebrating how movies are meant to be seen, on the big screen,” said Ken Thewes, Chief Marketing Officer for Regal Cinema, which is participating in the event. “We are excited to be a part of National Cinema Day, offering our moviegoers the opportunity to see the latest blockbusters at Regal, no matter the format, for only $3!”
“After this summer’s record-breaking return to cinemas, we wanted to do something to celebrate moviegoing,” said Cinema Foundation president Jackie Brenneman.
