If you like video calls you might consider the Meta Portal, which is being discontinued and is on sale starting at just $49 for a 10-inch display now through December 31, 2022.

The Meta (Facebook) Portal is a smart video device used to make video calls with other users who have a Portal or any smart device with Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp or Zoom. In addition to video calls, the Portal can be used as an Amazon Alexa device to answer questions, play music, set alarms, and provide news, weather, traffic, and other real-time information.

Meta has announced they will discontinue most Portal models and has the most popular models at fire sale prices.

The Portal comes in four models, listed below.

  • Portal, with a 10-inch HD display, $49 (was $179)
  • Portal TV, which uses your TV for video, $49 (was $149)
  • Portal Go, with a built-in battery and 10-inch HD display, $79 (was $199)
  • Portal+, with a 14-inch HD display, $299 (was $349)
