SiriusXM’s Radio Classics is broadcasting classic Christmas radio programs now through December 28, 2026, including A Christmas Carol” with Orson Welles and “It’s A Wonderful Life” with Jimmy Stewart & Donna Reed.
Radio Classics – Channel 148 in car radios and always available on the SiriusXM app – is the home for quality programs from The Golden Age Of Radio.
From Dec. 22 – 28, Radio Classics will feature Christmas-themed shows from all the top old time radio series including Jack Benny, The Life Of Riley, Phil Harris & Alice Faye, Dennis Day Show, Suspense, Dragnet, Gunsmoke, The Family Theatre, Red Skelton Show, Harry Nile, Jack Benny, Damon Runyon Theatre, Tales Of The Texas Rangers, and Bob Hope Show.
Also featured are Christmas movies adapted for radio by Lux Radio Theatre, The Screen Directors Playhouse, and The Campbell Playhouse.
Among the top shows to be shown in the series are:
- The Campbell Playhouse‘s “A Christmas Carol” with Orson Welles on Monday, Dec. 22 at 6 am, Friday, Dec. 26 at 8 pm, and Sunday Dec. 28 at 12 midnight.
- Lux Radio Theatre’s “It’s A Wonderful Life” starring Jimmy Stewart & Donna Reed. Scheduled broadcast times are Tuesday at 2 am, Thursday at 8 pm and Saturday Dec. 27 at 10 am.
- Lux Radio Theatre’s “Remember The Night” with Fred MacMurray and Barbara Stanwyck. Scheduled broadcast times are Monday at midnight, Saturday at 3 am, Wednesday at 8 pm and Saturday Dec. 27 at 6 am.
- The Screen Director’s Playhouse “Miracle On 34th Street” with Edmund Gwenn in his Oscar winning role of Kris Kringle. Scheduled broadcast times are Tuesday at 3 am and 11 pm, Thursday at 7 pm, Friday at 4 pm, Saturday Dec. 27 at 11 am
