Rock legend Billy Joel has a new song that came out on February 1, 2024 and has his own channel on SiriusXM now through February 10, 2024.
“Hear Billy Joel himself host shows playing some of his favorite recordings by other artists as well as deep-dives into the writing and meaning of his own songs. Plus, celebrities like Don Henley, Garth Brooks, Billy’s daughter Alexa Ray Joel, Billy’s band members, and more host their own Guest DJ shows,” SiriusXM said in their announcement.

Billy Joel’s New Single
Billy Joel – who hasn’t had a new song in 17 years – has a new single coming out on February 1, 2024. The new single is “Turn The Lights Back On.” It is available for pre-order now at billyjoel.com. It will also be accompanied by a lyric video on his official YouTube channel. A preview is below. The song was produced by GRAMMY-nominated songwriter and producer Freddy Wexler and written by Wexler, Arthur Bacon, Wayne Hector, and Joel.

Billy Joel Turns 74
William Martin Joel (born May 9, 1949) is an American musician, singer-songwriter, and composer. Commonly nicknamed the “Piano Man” after his first major hit, he has led a commercially successful career as a solo artist since the 1970s, having released 12 studio albums from 1971 to 1993 as well as one studio album in 2001. He is one of the best-selling music artists of all time, as well as the seventh-best-selling recording artist and the fourth-best-selling solo artist in the United States, with over 150 million records sold worldwide.
Joel was born in 1949 in the Bronx, New York, and grew up in Long Island, both places that influenced his music. Across the 20 years of his solo career, Joel produced 33 top 40 hits in the U.S., all of which he wrote himself.
