TCM True Crime Classics Thursdays

By Senior Daily Staff Last Updated Friday, January 28, 2022 8:06 am

Turner Classic Movies wraps up a month-long series of True Crime classic films on Thursday, January 27, 2022, with “A Place in the Sun,” “Double Indemnity,” and more films.

At 8 pm ET every Thursday in January, TCM begins a series of four or more true crime films, including Bonnie and Clyde, In Cold Blood, and Double Indemnity.  TCM’s Ben Mankiewicz is host for each evening.

“This month, TCM turns the spotlight on movies based on True Crime – some recounting the actual events, others loosely inspired by them, and some taking liberties with the facts to create cinematic myths and legends out of notorious criminals,” TCM said in their announcement.
