Sleep Channels on SiriusXM

By Senior Daily Staff Last Updated Saturday, December 27, 2025 11:34 am

With World Sleep Day to be celebrated on Friday, March 13, 2026, it might be a good occasion to check out the 17 Sleep Channels on SiriusXM.

World Sleep Day is an annual event that falls on the Friday before the vernal equinox.  It was organized by the World Sleep Society, with the goal to celebrate the benefits of good and healthy sleep and to draw society’s attention to the burden of sleep problems.

Satellite radio provider SiriusXM is promoting its 17 channels devoted to lulling you to sleep with calming music, nature sounds, and white noise. These channels are available online at the Sirius website and on the SiriusXM app.  These are not available on car radios, just online or with the app.  The sleep channels are:

  1. The Sleep Channel: The primary channel for sleep – ambient music and sleep sounds like a gentle rainfall.  Listen now at: Sleep Channel online.
  2. Chill Instrumental: Wordless downtempo music. Listen now at: Chill Instrumental Channel online.
  3. Classical for Sleep: Slow and serene classical music. Listen now at: Classical for Sleep Channel online.
  4. Forest Dreams:  No voice or music, just gentle tapping, scratching, and other sounds of objects. Listen now at: Forest Dreams Channel online.
  5. Indie Sleep: Soothing indie & dream pop. Listen now at: Indie Sleep Channel online.
  6. Lo-Fi Sleep: Calming music that is slow-paced, mellow, and free from jarring sounds or sudden shifts in tempo. Listen now at: Lo-Fi Sleep Channel online.
  7. Lullaby: Lullabies for loved ones. Listen now at: Lullaby Channel online.
  8. Night Noise: A mix of white, pink and brown noise. White noise is consistent sound that masks background sounds and helps quiet the mind. Brown noise has deeper, more soothing tones.  Pink noise is a balanced blend of high and low frequencies, creating a soft, calming sound that promotes relaxation and restful sleep. Listen now at: Night Noise Channel online.
  9. Piano Instrumentals:  Soothing synths and calming keys. Listen now at: Piano Instrumentals Channel online.
  10. Rainfall Radio:  The gentle patter of raindrops, ranging from a soft, steady drizzle to a gentle downpour. Listen now at: Rainfall Radio Channel online.
  11. Soothe: Instrumental chill music remix. Listen now at: Soothe Channel online.
  12. Spa Instrumental:  Gentle melodies, soft instrumental compositions, and ambient sounds such as flowing water or nature sounds. Listen now at: Spa Instrumental Channel online.
  13. Strings:  Solo violin to quartets and more.  Listen now at: Strings Channel online.
  14. Summer Sleep:  Sleep to the sounds of the season.  Listen now at: Summer Sleep Channel online.
  15. Tranquil:  Binaural music, a type of audio recording technique that involves using two microphones to capture sound from two separate sources, creating a sense of three-dimensional sound perception.  Listen now at: Tranquil Channel online.
  16. Yoga: Music for yoga and meditation. Listen now at: Yoga Channel online.
  17. Zen: Music for meditation. Listen now at: Zen Channel online.
