OTC Hearing Aids at Best Buy

By Senior Daily Staff Last Updated Wednesday, March 1, 2023 1:25 pm

Best Buy has begun offering over-the-counter (OTC) hearing aids online and in nearly 300 Best Buy stores.

The expanded assortment of hearing devices at Best Buy now includes nearly 20 OTC hearing aids, personal sound amplification products (PSAPs), TV amplifiers and hearing accessories from some of the most trusted brands in the space, Best Buy said. Devices will range anywhere from $400 to $3,000 for a pair.

Before buying a device, Best Buy recommends that customers take their new online hearing assessment tool, powered by hearX.  You’ll need to have earphones or headphones attached to your device before you take the test.  You can take the test at: Free Hearing Assessment

When shopping in select stores, customers can get assistance from Best Buy Blue Shirts, who will have gone through training on topics like the anatomy of the ear, stages of hearing loss, general fitting techniques and different features of various devices and brands.
