Smithsonian Magazine is celebrating Museum Day by offering a free museum ticket for two visitors. Hundreds of museums are participating; you can find the list at:
You’ll need to register and get tickets online in advance by following these steps:
- Register on the Museum Day website at: Smithsonian Museum Day
- Find a museum you’re interested in from this list of museums: Free Museums on Museum Day
- Click on Get Ticket
- Fill out your name and email
- The Smithsonian will email you a ticket; most tickets are good for two people.
Museum Day is an annual celebration hosted by Smithsonian magazine. Participating museums and cultural institutions across the country provide free entry to anyone presenting a Museum Day ticket.
