Murder Mystery Wednesdays on TCM

Turner Classic Movies has a tribute to classic mysteries with Who-Done-It Wednesdays every week in January.  On Jan. 27 see classic sleuths Nick Charles, Philo Vance, Perry Mason and Sherlock Holmes in action.

The movie marathon features six to eight classic films every Wednesday, including traditional Agatha Christie adaptations like Death on the Nile, Evil Under the Sun, Murder She Said, and Ten Little Indians, plus other classics like The Woman in Green and Deathtrap

Here are the films in the TCM Whodunit Wednesday Marathon.

After the Thin Man (1936) – Nick and Nora Charles try to clear Nora’s cousin of a murder charge.
The Kennel Murder Case (1933) – Society sleuth Philo Vance investigates a murder tied to a Long Island dog show.
Green For Danger (1946) – A police inspector investigates an operating room death that may be murder.
The Woman in Green (1945) – Sherlock Holmes investigates a series of seemingly unrelated murders.
The Case of the Lucky Legs (1935)  – Perry Mason tries to stay on the wagon while investigating the murder of a crooked beauty contest promoter.
Bulldog Drummond Escapes (1937)  – Captain Drummond becomes a prisoner when he intents to protect a beautiful heiress of an espionage organization.
The Saint Strikes Back (1939)  – The Saint helps a young beauty take vengeance on the mobsters who ruined her father.
