Easter Movies on TCM March 31

Turner Classic Movies celebrates Easter with historical epics and more classic films on Sunday, March 31, 2024. The Easter film fest begins at noon.  Scheduled films are:

  • 12:00 PM Godspell (1973). Contemporary hippies relive the story of Christ’s ministry and crucifixion. Read more
  • 2:00 PM The Greatest Story Ever Told (1965). All-star epic retelling of Christ’s life starring Max Von Sydow. Read more
  • 5:30 PM The Robe (1953)Biblical epic in which a Roman military tribune, who commands the unit that crucified Jesus Christ, tries to learn about the man he killed. Stars Richard Burton. Read more
  • 8:00 PM Easter Parade (1948). When his partner leaves him, a vaudeville star trains an untried performer to take her place, finding love in the process. Stars Fred Astaire and Judy Garland.  Read more
  • 10:00 PM King of Kings (1961). Epic retelling of Christ’s life and the effects of his teachings on those around him. Stars Jeffrey Hunter. Read more
