Turner Classic Movies is celebrating the 31 Days of Oscar again this year. See award-winning films from the 1920s to the 2000s every day through March 31, 2022.
Featured today are award winning films from the 1960s, including To Kill a Mockingbird (‘62) and The Hustler (‘61).
This year – the 28th year of the annual celebration – TCM will be featuring only Oscar Winning films. Each of the featured films across the 31 days has won at least one Oscar.
Also new for this year, portions of the 31 Days of Oscar programming will also be shown on HBO Max. Each day in March, HBO Max will feature one of 31 incredible Oscar-winning films. HBO Max also offers hundreds of award-winning classic films in the Classics Curated by TCM Hub.
The 31 Days of Oscar celebration begins on March 1 on TCM with a focus on 1940s winners. Each day will focus on a different theme. Most days will focus on a decade (the 1920s, 1980s etc) but some days will highlight winners of an Oscar category (Best Screenplay, Best Film etc).
The program continues 24/7 until the final film in the celebration, Virgin Spring, early in the morning of April 1.
