Patty Cassidy is a Master Gardener and naturalist who is the author of the award-winning book, The Illustrated Practical Guide to Gardening for Seniors. She has written many articles for horticultural magazines and horticultural therapy publications as well as spoken to numerous professional groups about the health benefits of gardening as we age.
Patty was the president of the Friends of the Portland Memory Garden in Portland, Oregon for 10 years and sat on the board of directors of the American Horticultural Therapy Association.
