Turner Classic Movies celebrates Summer Under the Stars every day in August 2025 with all-day tributes to acting legends like Elizabeth Taylor, Clark Gable, Frank Sinatra and Henry Fonda.
The series begins at 6:00 am Friday, August 1, 2025, with a full day of 12 Lana Turner films including 6:00 PM The Postman Always Rings Twice (1946) and 8:00 PM Imitation of Life (1950).
Other highlights include all-day tributes to:
- Audrey Hepburn (Aug. 3), Elizabeth Taylor (Aug. 9), Clark Gable (Aug. 10), James Cagney (Aug. 20), Frank Sinatra (Aug. 22), Henry Fonda (Aug. 24) and Kirk Douglas (Aug. 30).
