Halloween Marathon on TCM

Turner Classic Movies celebrates Halloween today with a marathon of classic monster movies including Frankenstein and The Wolf Man.

Highlights of the TCM Halloween filmfest include:

Monday, October 31
7:30 AM House on Haunted Hill (1958). The owner of a supposedly haunted mansion offers $10,000 to anyone willing to spend the night.  Starring Vincent Price and directed by William Castle.
12:00 Horror of Dracula (1958).  The legendary count tries to turn his enemies’ women into his bloodthirsty brides.  Christopher Lee’s debut as Dracula.
8:00 PM Bride of Frankenstein (1935).  Dr. Frankenstein creates a female mate for his monster.  Sequel to the classic, directed by James Whale and starring Boris Karloff and Colin Clive.
9:30 PM Son of Frankenstein (1939). Baron Wolf von Frankenstein is determined to prove the legitimacy of his father’s scientific creation. Boris Karloff returns as the creature.
11:30 PM Frankenstein (1931).  A crazed scientist creates a living being from body parts. The classic film directed by James Whale and starring Boris Karloff and Colin Clive.
Tuesday, November 1
2:15 AM The Wolf Man (1941). A British nobleman undergoes a startling transformation when he’s bitten by a werewolf. Stars Lon Chaney Jr, Claude Rains, Warren William, Ralph Bellamy.3:30
3:30 AM Dracula’s Daughter (1936).A Hungarian countess seeks the aid of a noted psychiatrist, in hopes of freeing herself of a mysterious evil influence. Stars Otto Kruger, Gloria Holden, Marguerite Churchill
