Free “Museums on Us” Aug. 2-3

Bank of America and Merrill Lynch sponsor free museum days for their customers the first full weekend of every month. The next free museum weekend is Augst 2-3, 2025.

If you have a Bank of America or Merrill Lynch account or credit card, you can qualify for free entry to 225 museums on the first Saturday-Sunday of each month.

You’ll need a Bank of America, Merrill or Bank of America Private Bank (US Trust) credit or debit card plus your photo ID.  You’ll qualify for one free general admission at any of the participating museums. (Others with you will not get free admission.)

Participating museums include the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, the LA County Museum of Art in Los Angeles, the Adler Planetarium in Chicago, Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, and Philadelphia Museum of Art.  View the complete list at:

Free Museums for Bank of America, Merrill Lynch Customers

“At Bank of America, we believe in the power of the arts. That’s why for the past 24 years, during the first full weekend of every month, Bank of America has offered our valued cardholders free general admission to more than 225 cultural institutions in dozens of cities across the US where our customers live and work,” the announcement states.

“Museums on Us is available to Bank of America, Merrill or Bank of America Private Bank (U.S. Trust) credit or debit cardholders during the first full weekend of every month. Present your active Bank of America, Merrill or Bank of America Private Bank (U.S. Trust) credit or debit card with photo ID to gain one free general admission to a participating cultural institution. Cardholder only. Check participating cultural institution for operating hours. Excludes ticketed and special exhibitions and fundraising events.”
