Best Hallmark Christmas Movies of 2025, From IMDB

Now that The Hallmark Channel has shown all 24 of its new Christmas movies for 2025, viewers have weighed in and ranked them all from first (Merry Christmas,Ted Cooper!) to last (The Christmas Cup).

This year’s premieres included another sequel to The Three Wise and a Baby, another NFL-themed movie, and movies centered at the Grand Ole Opry and the Newport mansions.

IMDB, the Internet Movie Data Base, is where millions of viewers go to rate films and TV shows, from 1 to 10.  Below are their average ratings for all the 2025 Hallmark Christmas movies.  Beside each rating is the number of viewer votes that contributed to the rating.  You can click on the links below to read more about the movie or see a preview from The Hallmark Channel or IMDB.  Click on the Hallmark Channel link and you’ll see showtimes for when the film will be rebroadcast.

    Weatherman Ted Cooper (Buckley) loves Christmas, but the past three have been terrible. He travels back to his hometown of Lackawanna, NY for the holidays. While visiting Urgent Care after falling off a ladder, he reconnects with Hope Miller (Sustad), now she’s Dr. Hope Miller, with whom he went to high school.   2. A Grand Ole Opry Christmas 7.1 (779)
    Gentry Wade, who gave up music after her father’s death decades ago, must confront her past when Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry invites her to honor her late country star dad at their Christmas celebration. Thanks to some Christmas magic, Gentry gets precious time with her father, creative inspiration to finish the song she began decades earlier as a teen.   4. A Newport Christmas 7.0 (1.1K)
    Ella is a charitable, spirited Newport socialite in 1905 who dreams of a different life. Upon seeing a comet shoot across the sky, Ella finda that she has somehow traveled from 1905 to 2025. As she spends time there and gets a glimpse at what her future in 1905 appears to be, she becomes reluctant to return, especially since she and a local sailor and historian have grown close.   5. Christmas Above the Clouds 6.9 (1.2K)
    In this modern-day reimagining of A Christmas Carol, workaholic CEO Ella Neezer tries to skip Christmas by flying to Australia. Haunted by her past, present and future, she’s forced to confront the choices that led to her success yet left her flying solo.     Three siblings deal with personal changes and their mother’s decision to sell the family home before Christmas.
